This is the Tight Steer© sector shaft tension device to keep the sector shaft pushed into the worm shaft at all times. The device has a spring loaded button that pushed on the sector shaft in place of your adjustment screw. Nice product for Ross steering boxes. This Tight Steer© has 1/2-20 threads.
Fits all models listed below. (Special note on Pre 1954 Pick Up Truck, Station Wagon and Sedan Delivery models: Tight Steer© model 200 only fits 1954 and later Pick Up Truck, Station Wagon and Sedan Delivery models for earlier models choose: Tight Steer© model 100.)
