This is the tailgate opening surround that is used on 1945-1975 CJ and M38 models. The surround does not have the chain brackets installed but are available and is made in three pieces to be welded together during installation. The lower part has the sheet metal piece on it under the surround. Nice and heavy like the original. Made in the USA.
Note: If you are ordering the tail light panels the tailgate lock brackets are included with those panels or are available separate.
