TightSteer© for Ross steering boxes with the adjustment screw that has 7/16-20 threads. 1 Required.

This is the TightSteer© sector shaft tension device to keep the sector shaft pushed into the worm shaft at all times. The device has a spring loaded button that pushed on the sector shaft in place of your adjustment screw. Nice product for Ross steering boxes. This Tight Steer© has 7/16-20 threads.

Fits all models listed below. On Pick Up Truck, Station Wagon and Sedan Delivery models up to 1953 use this Tight Steer© for 1954-1963 models with the larger box, choose TightSteer© model 200.)

Cautionary Note: TightSteer© cannot compensate for worn wheel bearings, worn king pins or king pin bearings, worn pitman arms or pitman arm bearings, improperly set camber, improperly set caster, improperly set toe-in, or worn tie rod ends. Ensure that these components and settings are correct before installing TightSteer©.
